The villa was great – we all loved the views and the fact that even at the height of the day there was a wonderful breeze. The whole experience was one of tremendous relaxation. I think we all came back feeling great….you have a wonderful home on a wonderful island – and our stay in Andante was one that will live with us for ever.

Your home is wonderful!  Having planned for our stay [at] Andante for over a year and our seeing photos on the internet, we really, really had high expectations and Andante exceeded every expectation we had.

What a marvelous home!  Andante was so well equipped and comfortable that we felt right at home after our first morning breakfast there.  We rarely ate out and your kitchen had everything we needed, plus. The sea was extremely ruff so my snorkeling didn't happen and although disappointed, being at Andante still made this one of our best vacations. The pool was a good substitute for the sea and we spent many an hour in and around it.  We caught every sun rise and sun set - WOW what a view…. I could go on and on but truly thank you for providing a home that felt like home and your hospitality was graciously felt.

I just wanted to let you know we that really enjoyed ourselves at Andante by the Sea. Our initial reaction: "why would we leave?" The views from every deck and direction were fabulous. Like kids, we scurried from deck to deck to take in the views. We had a designated eating spot for every meal. Ventured out to tour the island and visited the beaches. We enjoyed the experience at Andante with the beautiful sunrises, moonlight and ocean breaking against the shore throughout the day. Hopefully, we will make another trip back to the island. Where does one start? Our family has gathered on St. John to celebrate [a wedding]...I shall not speak for the others - I leave it to them to fill a page or two with their own entries. As for me, this is my first visit to St. John and the USVI and the experience has been a profound one. I have been very impressed with the diversity of plant and animal life just out the door. I am no biologist but goodness! .All the hermit crabs..., geckos, pelicans, gulls, frigate birds, hummingbirds! A large southern ray was spotted down in the waters of Hart Bay. In the end, my most lasting images will be those of my daughter.., holding her and rocking her to sleep as island breezes fluttered her cornsilk hair, as the chimes played Aeolian songs....walking the grounds of Andante, searching the horizon for sailboats. I believe Andante to be a wonderful place, but would more properly be named "Lentissimo" - Come here and let your life slow down for a while.

My Husband and I visited St. John 18 years ago for our honeymoon. We've been back a few times and always stayed in a friend's home. This is the first time with our kids and in a rental home. We can’t wait to get back to Andante! Like almost everyone these days I lead a hectic life, but whenever it starts to get to me I take a deep breath, close my eyes, and picture myself in my favorite Andante spot – on the shaded terrace, gently swaying on the hammock as I watch waves crash below. Every family member had their own favorite spots. Our three year old loved splashing in the pool and watching DVDs in “his” room (we moved a few of the vases and art pieces to kid proof the living room). My husband couldn’t get enough of the hot tub, and my sister loved gazing at the stars from her private deck. The whole family loved cooking our favorite meals and enjoying the spectacular view of the island from the outdoor dining room. The owners left us lots of information about sightseeing, hotspots, and dining, but honestly we didn't want to leave Andante! We’ll be coming back for our next anniversary!

We had an excellent time!  We couldn't have asked for a better trip!  We (both couples) have been friends for several years and have gone on many vacations together,…. We can't possibly explain how wonderful it was to anyone that wasn't there!  When I came back to work, I said "It was really rough, getting up each morning deciding which beach to go to today!"…. We would come back every evening and "chill" in the hot tub and reflect on how wonderful the day had been. Often contemplating what possible job we could do to move to St. John! …We snorkeled at several beaches and saw many great things!  Sea turtles, stingray, and all different kinds of fish!  It was awesome! By the way, the beach chairs were awesome as well!  Ok, so you get the idea!  We LOVED it!!

I would like to report to you that our stay at Andante was wonderful. My wife and daughter agree that it was our best vacation yet. I have book marked your web-page on my computer and go to it frequently just to remind myself of our week there. We felt like royalty with the reception that Viva! gave us at the dock. Most of our time was spent reading on your deck and by your pool enjoying the unsurpassed view; or at Hawksnest beach. With your well equipped kitchen and grill we found it quite unnecessary to go into town at night for dinner. We especially appreciate the thought that you have obviously put into the comfort and overall experience of your guests. We are veteran condo-renters and while we have rented some nice places before, I have never had the feeling that the owners really cared if their renters enjoyed their visit or not, nor have we been as well equipped. You have gone above and beyond the call. Thank you again for your interest in our great vacation.
