Are you hoping to hit the links while you are here? You can! Unfortunately there are no courses on St. John, but take a quick ferry trip over to St. Thomas to play at Mahogany Run.
Mahogany Run Golf Course is a top golf destination in the Caribbean. This 18-hole course features mountaintop views, and wraps up in the "Devil's Triangle" – three holes along the ocean. Players of all skill levels will find it challenging. The course has dramatic and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the stone bluffs surrounding the north side of the golf course. It recently completed a million-dollar renovation.
Designed by world-renowned architects, George and Tom Fazio, and opened in 1980, the 6,000 yard, par 70 course attracts thousands of visitors each year from golfers and non-golfers to celebrities and Presidents alike. Its challenging fairways and lush greens are truly a sight not-to-be-missed. One of the highlight’s of Mahogany is the world famous Devil’s Triangle. This is a three hole stretch which will be threat to the score of the very best players. Situated 200 feet above a rocky inlet of the Atlantic Ocean and offering breathtaking views of the neighboring U.S. and British Virgin Islands – an experience to be remembered for a lifetime.
You can leave your clubs at home and rent equipment including new sets of the latest clubs (available in right or left handed for men, women, and seniors), as well as new golf shoes and name-brand balls. If you decide to bring you own, and consolidate two sets to one bag for luggage purposes, Mahogany would be happy to provide you with a spare bag during your round.

With all the snorkeling around St. John, and the National Park, they are not allowed and frowned upon to say the least.
