Andante by the Sea is OWNER MANAGED. We believe in speaking to everyone interested in renting Andante by the Sea before you book, to make sure that all of your questions are answered and that Andante will meet your vacation needs perfectly. Our on-island property managers will help you with your travel arrangement needs, before and at your arrival. They will will meet you on arrival and accompany you to Andante. They are available throughout your stay to help make your vacation unforgettable.
 
CHECK-IN INTERVALS ARE SATURDAY-SATURDAY, MINIMUM 7 DAYS. CHECK-IN 3pm CHECK-OUT 10am.
Because guests are booked back-to-back, we cannot offer early check-in or late check-out. Shorter stays available at peak and off season timeframes. Can be waived when limited by availability and at owner's discretion. Extended stays over 7 days either begin or end on Saturday unless limited by availability at owner's discretion. Additional days are prorated from base rate.
 
Shorter stays of 5-6 possible when availability limited.  Stays of 6 days minimum, not limited by availability, may be possible at owner's discretion with addition of an administrative fee of $400 off season and $550 Peak Season).

MAX OCCUPANCY 6 GUESTS*:
*Occupancy over 6 guests at owner's discretion and at an additional rate of $50 per person per night. Cot rental fee $100.
 
SINGLE OCCUPANCY:
Rates are based on double occupancy. For example, if 2 guests would like to occupy 2 bedrooms, then the rate is at the 2-Bedroom level. If 3 guests would like to occupy 3 bedrooms, then the rate is at the 3-Bedroom level. This rate structure is not applicable for flat rate holiday weeks.
 
PAYMENTS:
A non-refundable $500 confirmation fee is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This will be credited towards the first payment, which is 50% of the rental fee, and is due within a week of receiving your rental documents. The balance (2nd half of the rental amount, plus 12.5% USVI Hotel Tax) is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

DAMAGE WAIVER FEE:
A non-refundable $75 damage waiver fee is due 8 weeks prior to arrival and paid by credit card. This fee is in lieu of a damage deposit and covers accidental villa damage of up to $500, as long as the damage is reported to either the owners or property managers prior to the guest’s final departure; the damage is not preventable, malicious, or due to negligence. Please refer to our “Rental Agreement” for details. This fee does not cover guest property and guests are strongly advised to purchase a comprehensive trip cancellation insurance such as the type which is offered on the link found below on this website.
 
CLEANING FEE: $250

 
DISCOUNTS:
NOTE: Last Minute Discounts – 6 adult maximum. Up to 2 children, sleeping in bedrooms with their parents, additional charge at $50 per person per day. $100 cot rental fee.
 

RETURNING GUEST DISCOUNTS:

We want our home-away-from-home to be yours too. That's why we offer our returning guests 5% off* their next booking. Returning guests can also earn an additional 5% off their next stay* when they refer a friend who books Andante by the Sea. 


LAST MINUTE DISCOUNTS:

None at present.

Weekly rentals preferred. Restrictions apply to nightly rentals. 
Returning guests may apply their 5% discount.

AVAILABLE SERVICES:
 
IN-VILLA CHEF SERVICES:
Villa Provisioning; In-Villa Spa Services; Babysitting; Excursions including but not limited to: Snorkeling, Diving, Biking, Climbing, Boating, Kayaking, and Visit to British Virgin Islands are all available and can be arranged through our on-island property managers.
 
CAR RENTALS:
We can also be arrange your rental. A vehicle is necessary and a 4-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended to take full advantage of all areas of the island. Rental is approximately $360 for one week.
 
MIDWEEK HOUSELCEANING SERVICE:
Included with stays of over 14 days, and during the Holiday Season weeks. Midweek housecleaning service is available for all other stays at our guests' convenience for and additional cost of $75 for 3 hours.



CANCELLATION POLICY:
 
The initial reservation fee of $500 is non-refundable under any circumstance. All other rental charges (except hotel occupancy taxes) are non-refundable unless the owner or owner’s agent is able to re-rent the villa during the period reserved. In the event the villa can be re-rented, a handling charge equal to 20% of the total rental fee will be deducted. In addition, all other fees incurred in rebooking the villa, including but not limited to discounts that must be offered or commissions paid, will be deducted from the refunded amount. 

In the event of very severe weather which results in the need for evacuation of homes in the immediate area as deemed necessary by municipal authorities, our property managers will make every effort to find alternate safe accommodations, or to arrange for evacuation, whichever is appropriate and allowed by law. If the villa is rendered uninhabitable by an act of God, we will make every effort to reschedule or reimburse the guest’s stay.
 
We cannot be responsible for airline changes, cancellations, acts of terrorism, global peril or personal emergencies and no refunds or adjustments can be offered in these or any other events. We, and our property managers, will work diligently to re-rent the villa in the event you must cancel so that you may receive a partial refund or credit towards a future stay. The safest, most affordable way to guard against any eventuality, and to ensure that you will obtain a full refund quickly, is to purchase trip cancellation insurance.
 
The 2017 hurricanes brought the need for trip cancellation insurance into sharp focus. The coronavirus pandemic of 2020 emphasized the need even more. Over the 20 years of Andante’s history, we have worked hard and taken great pride in keeping our villa affordable. As a small “mom and pop” business, in order to keep the costs of rentals affordable for our guests and far lower than a comparable stay in a series of hotel rooms, we are unable to absorb the costs of non-coverage. The only way for us to do that is to have our guests take responsibility for purchasing trip cancellation insurance. We highly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance, not only during hurricane season, but any time of the year. 

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase trip cancellation insurance for all dates of travel at the time that they reserve with us. Our experience has been that the most frequent causes for cancellation have not been weather related, but rather crises personal to our guests. We are not requiring trip cancellation insurance, but we are notifying guests that we will adhere to our established cancellation policy for all future rentals.
