We get it. You're obsessed. How could you possibly enjoy your vacation without a WOD or two on your schedule. CrossFit’s ritual intensity is tribal, it’s intense, it’s never the same workout twice. It replaces cosmetic aspirations (six-pack abs, buns of steel) with an emphasis on function - mastery, progress, work capacity. It replaces the ease and comfort of gym machines with a demand for all-out effort and an archaic stoicism. Way to go you for being a part of that...
The bad news is there is currently no CrossFit on St. John. The good news is, you can make a day of it and explore St. John or St. Croix and get your WOD.
The largest CrossFit gym in the VI with 6,500 sq ft of space and walking distance from YHG and the cruise doc. They say crossfit is for everybody, and they are firm believers in that statement, which is why they emphasize that no matter your age, skill level, or current physical activity level - they can help you meet and exceed your health goals. They love visitors. They even say so right on their homepage. It's $20 to drop in, or let them know if you plan on coming more frequently and they will work out a special rate just for you. Reebok CrossFit St. Thomas is a strength and conditioning facility that develops individuals, athletes, and teams to reach elite levels of fitness through constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity. We are located under the MCM Center at the Antilles School just East of Havensight in a 3000 square foot space. Showers and restrooms are available in the MCM so we can utilize our entire footprint for training.
Your other option is to head to St. Croix and drop in for a WOD with 340 CrossFit in their 6,000ft box. Train under the guidance of certified CrossFit trainers. They are committed to improving lives of all individuals, creating a healthy and positive environment. They train people of all shapes and sizes, adapting every workout specifically to you!
